“With Cusi sitting in the dug-out nursing his halibut, the Funbbl Crew was dreading its next match... The Big Man was not there... Dragging their heels, they took the field against the Jolly Twisted Fellows, a friendly Chaos team.
At this point EvolveToAnarchism shouted something about non-coercion and, with a lot of goodwill, persuaded the Fellows' Chaos Warrior to spend the rest of the match sitting in the dug-out, pretending to be knocked out. Rumours that he used a club with a nail in it to get his point across are completely unfounded.
Elated, the rest of the team quickly found its stride and Locutus switfly scored, as did Mezir not long after that, fed beautiful passes by thrower Mnemon, who, once again, played an outstanding match.
In the second half, though, things did not go as smoothly.
"Whu? Wha's happenin'? UMPH!" - Candlejack in the last turn, after being knocked to the ground some time before, trying to clear his head, failing to note that Mnemon lobbed a beautiful pass towards him which ends up hitting him on the head and bouncing away.
"Mindz ya own bizniz, I cin fall over if I wantz to." - Peikko relating the epic tale of his two dodges during the match (both of which failed).
"It wuz mum... She sez I bain't s'posed t'play dis game... Wish she'd used a zofter rock, tho..." - Chickenbrain shortly after the match, still recovering from a projectile thrown at him by the crowd.
"Hey, I just rock at this game." Star goblin Mezir on his second touch-down in his short carreer.
