“Harried by bad luck throughout most of the game, the Bashers never really got into the game, which was dominated by Spartak virtually from the beginning.

Despite a valiant defence, Spartak managed to score twice, though the Bashers managed to put one in as well between them. But everyone knew that the Bashers had to be very lucky to get a draw. And luck was not something they had. To add insult to injury, the long-serving lineman Darzog Wildman were killed.

When asked after the game, the coach had this comment: "Dem zoggin' pointy-ears an' der luck. I'll bash der 'eads in, I will." Those Spartak players better watch out!”
