“A strange final considering the number of casualties and touchdowns scored by the teams in the rounds leading up to this game. In the first half the Red Diamonds started well with Black Diamond sending multiple Stalker players to the team dugout. By the end of the half the Diamonds were well in control but disaster struck when the Diamonds Bull Centurs tried to exchange the ball, a fumbled catch resulting in the score being 0-0 at half time.
In the second half the Diamonds showed the organisation that had allowed them to win the Kislev cup with two blitzs at kick-offs, scoring from the first and disrupting the Stalker layout at the start of the second drive. Though the Stalkers recovered the ball after the second blitz they were unable to create a decent scoring opportunity and so the score ended 1-0 to the Diamonds.
A tough game where the Stalkers appeared strangely out of form (the team didn't even manage to cause a KO during the match). Against such a tough coach poor form was diasterous with the Diamonds in control for the whole match.
Even though he only managed KOs, the Stalkers coach Kalmort has grown to dispise the Diamonds minotaur Black Diamond. Don't be suprised if he becomes a Dark Elf Assassin mark!

The coach had a rather long (and loud!) talk with the team at half time and when second half started they were ready. Blitzing down the field T'yargs managed to get hold of the ball with H'torg covering him and score early to 1 - 0. The Diamonds, ready for more blitzed again, but this time the necros were ready and after a little rumble started a desperate advance down their right side. But the team captain H'torg and Xalin managed to pry the ball loose and after some more fumbling 2nd half ended.
All in all a rather uneventfull finale with only one CAS, but a lot of knocked out players. All of them from the Moonlight Stalkers.
