Possibly the most interesting game I have played for a LONG time
The Woodies got off to a flying start with a typical elven TD. Flood their half with elves. Blitz a guy free and pass it to him to score :)
The returning drive was hard fought. With the undead getting ball, the elves getting the ball, and the undead getting the ball again. However on the last turn of the half, a few nice moves by the undead, and they scored a nice TD
The second half was nasty. It basically ended with every player in a 4X4 square desperately trying to get the ball. And after one particularly nasty turn (3 BH in one turn) I was down in the numbers. One ghoul almost made a getaway ... but my WD scored a lucky 1D blitz, and the ball was back into the scrum. Eventually the ball popped out on my side of the ruck, and a quick dash had an elf with the ball deep in my half desperatly looking for the pass. Finally he sees the WD waving his arms like he was drowning. And a rerolled long pass ends in the ball scattering 4 squares away from the WD (it could not have gone further away) A desperate last ditch effort resulted in two failed pickups.
