“Both teams' first game, and maybe not the best opponents to try for. The luck score took a downward turn towards the end of the 2nd half for Rumblebelly but otherwise was near miraculous all game, with all manner of dodges coming off, and blocks etc.
My Dwarves stalled the game till late in the 2nd, knowing that the dice had been unkind, and it looked like it might be possible for RD to stop me scoring - I regretted then stalling witht he ball! Fortunately (for me) the bad luck (now on both sides with lots of skulls on the dice) pretty much saved me, and the game was tied, which I thought was fair - neither coach played better than the other, in my opinion.
Karian is a fine coach - not many players would have the Ref all half and not use it at all. My hat goes off to you, and I hope you do well in future! Nice clean game, bit messy and slow with Dwarves, but both teams got good money and can rebuild, and improve hopefully.

In the second half my luck dropped a lot. When Meetgrinder started stalling the game at the end, I hoped that I could reach the ball carrier to safe the victory, but I started rolling a lot of skulls.
The game ended in a draw, what is fair for both teams. It's not that one was much better then the other. Luckily, the gate was good so that we both could replace our dead players.
It was nice playing with meetgrinder. I wish him good luck in further games. Untill we meet again ...”
