- First turn, 1st half... I fail a block. (go figure) I don't have the ball yet. He runs some guys over and puts a TZ on the ball. Ok, Venisia has sure hands. Sure enough, she goes over, picks up the ball, dodges out and passes to the catcher. Instead of going to the catcher, it appeared as if she threw it directly into the hands of a waiting DE who had flooded the line. UGH! Easy TD. I didn't even get any SPP for it either.
- Venisia couldn't manage a proper pass to save her life.
- Venisia fails a pass, rerolls, fails that with a one. It bounces beside her, then back to her. She fails to catch it (thus alleviating the turnover). I reroll. She fails again.
- 28 armor checks. Only 4 of which I managed to roll higher than an 8. 3 stuns and 1 KO.
It was actually kind of boring. My first real drive in the 1st half met with this weeble-wobble front line of Dark Elves who could have had a 20 AV for the way I was rolling. They just stayed right there. Kept standing up and kept their distance. I got two squares past the LOS before I made a break for it on turn 7. Actually would have made a TD on turn 8 except for his Tackle guy.
Half of the second half was a slow shift of what looked like a DE pimple on the sideline. Guess who popped it? That's right. Krull with Tackle. DE went spurting everywhere only to eventually fail on a dodge. DD had used up all the RRs in the first couple turns of the 2nd half and was living on borrowed time. Regardless, it took until about turn 6 or 7 to actually have a turnover. (sigh)
“I didnĀ“t find it a boring match. It was quite close until I got ahead 2-0 late in the second half. I like those games more than any 4-0 blowout.
I think you made a positioning error two turns before my 2nd TD, that allowed me to blow a hole in your line and pour all my DEs through. But well played overall.
I think I finally got a grasp on elven tactics.
Yes, your Throwers inability to throw a decent pass helped me a lot.”

Krull deserves his MVP for the game. No doubt.”
