“The game went pretty much as I planned. Luckily my opponent had to use his apoth to cure niggler, which ment that my Scumwart (st4, c+rsc) would be even more efficient.
The first half was going really good for my defense, as my opponent was held in the middle area. He tried to find some room to score from different directions, but ny defense held good. But in the last turn he scored with his wannabe-elf, Pravastatin.
Then in the 2nd half my plan was to score late td, while trying to reduce my opponent's players for the overtime. At first it didn't work like I planned, but then my armor rolls improved and I managed to gain some advantage.
And in the overtime those armors broke again for my advantage, at it looked like an easy td for me. But my opponent teased me with this bull, and I had to make a gfi for the td in the last turn. I was quite scared to make that roll, as I didn't had any rerolls left. But I made it, and won the game.
So I advanced to the semi-finals of the Orca-Cola Classic Tournament, and as I look my opponents now they are WAY higher in TR.
But with some good handicaps and help of Scumwart anything is possible. That beastman has won me almost every game of Orca-Cola Classic, and I just wonder how long he will survive...”
“It wasn't a good start for the Manic Raiders as we had to use an apothecary on a niggler just to maintain equal numbers leaving the chaos dwarves short on medical cover against a notoriously dangerous team.
Then at the kick-off the ref decided the first half needed to be shorter and the Raiders barely managed to score in turn 8. However the dumbass ref changed his mind and added some time at the end which left three poor Raiders players out of reach of their team-mates and at the mercy of the evil Scumwart, a ST4 RSC Claw tackle beastman.
The 2nd half saw the Tripleskulls continue their systematic removal of the Manics not helped by the fact that the chaos dwarf armour seemed to break for pretty much everyone *except* Scumwart (thankfully perhaps!) and by the end the Raiders were down to 5 players and desperate tactics. The game went to overtime and despite the result looking obvious we tried our best to make a nuisance of ourselves.
Thanks for the game Kyyberi. Look forward to playing you again - I want revenge! :o)
