“I haven't had a game this bad in a while. I won't say that Diablo didn't have a couple of unlucky rolls but 64% compared to my 49% tells a tale. Here's the rest of my one sided story:
1st Half
- It was like his team secretly had the Claw/RSC combo. 4 KO, 2 BH, 1 Death (which I apoth'd) by the end of the half. Two of BH and one KO was within turn 3.
- We got sweltering heat for the weather. It helped equalize the end of this half, but came back to bite me 2nd half.
- My skinks failed two dodges. I wasn't even trying anything crazy.
- Rolled Double Skulls twice.
- The only real chance I had to score before my team disappeared (see 2nd half) I was minimizing my dodges by clearing a lane. This was one of my Double Skulls. RR. SkullPow/Skull. Needless to say, the Saurus didn't have block yet. ugh. That spelled disaster.
- I couldn't keep up with all the straight-up-one-die blocks he threw this half. (he didn't need to 2nd half) He only failed one of these for the whole game.
2nd Half
- This is where the Sweltering Heat did in my Boomerz. I thought Lizards LIKED the heat?! We're cold blooded. Lost two Saurus'
- Diablo "Got the Ref" even though he didn't need it. He was doing well enough with just straight up blocks. Even on my Saurus'
- He was breaking my armor left and right. Three Saurus' stunned. 3 other KOs this half
- Did I mention only two KOs came back at the half? Now I have 2 BH, 2 KO still and he KO'd 3 more this half. 10-2-2-3 = 3 That's how many players I had left at the end of the game
- His Tackle people always seemed to be in the right place at the right time. Very effective.
- I came close to scoring once in the 2nd half. Didn't work out so well.
- The best thing I did this game was prevent another TD for him by Side Stepping Jub-Jub's prone body (who turned out to be a real trooper through the entire match) onto the ball causing it to scatter and be caught by the Witch Elf that blitzed him, thus preventing the pass to the "within-scoring-range" DE patiently waiting near my EZ. That was Turn 8. No TD. That was about the most effective thing I did this game.
He only had 5 more blocks thrown than I did. I didn't count the number of prone though. He broke my armor 13 times. I can only think of twice I broke his.
ugh. At least I apoth'd the death and I have my entire team for next game.”
