If you get a chance, replay the first 3 turns. First, you'll see a pitch invasion. The fans were nice enough to stun his Treeman (Root) for me. Soon after, you'll see an amazing feat of dodging as Grotto dodges through (not in but THROUGH) 3 TZs to blitz Francis Birch and pushed him in the crowd before he can score a 2 turn TD. THEN, Grotto grabs the ball and dodges out. The rest is a blur.
Later on, the fans stunned Root again with a rock. How do you stun a big tree with a rock? I shouldn't complain too loudly. The fans took Root out of the game for 6 turns total during the game.
PsychoticBatBoy did an excellent job with defense, all things considered. He stopped another one of my TDs when Hugh Alexander was about to make another TD. Dodged in and stunned him. All this without any RRs.
The rest of the game was mostly crowd participation as they hurt our players and threw the ball back and forth across the pitch.
I got a chance to effectively use Hugh Alexander's new Strip Ball skill. I was actually disappointed the first time he blitzed a ball handler and got POW. I wanted to strip it. He got his chance later on.
Last play of note. Turn 8. 3 squares from his EZ. I blitz a clear area around the ball. Francis moves in to make the 4th TD of the game and his 3rd personal. No RRs. You know this story. I roll a 1.
Interesting game.”
