“Although the crowd didn't seem to enjoy the game, this commentator was impressed at the audacity of the Wooden Tops.
They started the match 5 elves down and ran their first TD in just 2 turns. A turn later Ashleigh was at the endzone again, celebrating the 2nd TD. The Cult's fans exacted revenge on Oaklee towards the end of the first half, by breaking his left (non throwing) arm in 2 places. He is sure to be sitting on the bench next match giving advice to anyone else who needs to throw the ball!
By the end of the half Wooden Tops were 2-1 up.
The 2nd half of the match continued in much the same way as the first half. The Wooden Tops kept on running the ball and scoring, whilst The Cult's only managed 1 more TD. in the dying moments of the game Tumblewood ran a 5th TD as a final kick in the teeth to the Cults.
The coach was overheard at the end of the match saying that he thought tht there must have been a wizrd in the grounds casting spells and helping his 'boys' play as they did!
The Cults coach refused to be interviewed on grounds that foul play and skull-duggerey was to blame for his teams poor performance.”
