The Forest Flyers' third match was a victory mostly because two opposing key players were out. Gondorian War Machine was arrested for bar-brawling just before he wanted to get on the pitch, and he was so frustrated by this that apparently he hit Elendil's Son so hard that his wound started acting up, which meant that the Men of Valor were playing with two blitzers less.
The game started out disastrous for the Flyers. Only rigorous training (read: heavy use of rerolls) kept their first drive on track, and because of a key action failing on the Men of Valor's part, the Flyers got an early touchdown.
The Men returned with a near unstoppable drive which tied the score halfway through the first half. Then disaster struck: Out of nowhere the blue sky turned overcast and heavy rainfall started pouring on the pitch. Discipline was failing on both sides (read: out of rerolls) but the elves managed to turn a clumsy attempt at stealing the ball by the Men into another touchdown just as the horn sounded for the end of the half.

In the second half the weather changed again completely, and the now burning sun turned the soggy pitch into a steaming swamp. A failed pickup by the Men of Valor meant that the elves once again were on the offensive, and the Men trying desperately to keep the flyers from the ball. Another key pass failing on the side of the Men meant that the score was soon 3 to 1.
After playing in this horrible heat 2 Men and 1 Flyer could not continue and needed to rest, which mean the elves now outnumbered the humans. The Men tried to score fast with some agile passing, but morale must have been low for the steaming ball kept slipping out of their hands time after time. The elves' superior numbers meant they could tie up the offence and go after the ball at the same time. The Flyers had 4 elves in the Men's backfield against their 2, and their brave effort were not enough to keep the elves from yet another touchdown, settling the score at 4 to 1.
