“Went into a 2-0 early lead, managed to avoid the worst of the blood lust. That changed in the second half. Not sure what is harder - dodging on a 2+ or avoiding the blood lust. I made an error in choosing to lose a Vamp instead of a thrall, and that probably cost me the game, but the dice had long since decided I'd had my fair share of luck anyway - I don't think it would have made any difference whatever I'd decided to do. 2-0. 2-1. 2-2. 2-3. Two of those were 'on a plate' one was very nicely worked.
Ignore the luck meter - it's full of shite as usual and a waste of time. This is just a glowing example of how the dice will snatch defeat from the slavering jaws of victory!

“He's right. The first half with 50+ bloodlust rolls he only got hit 3 times. All three times for stun. 2+ to pick up the ball for elves was apparently way too difficult, and heaven forbid that a catch be possible. The first half was a whipping, vampire style.
In the second half the vamps got real hungry. In one turn 3 of them required blood. I just did all I could to capitolize on it.
And yes, dodges were dangerous in this game. ”

HOW many 1s when dodging...? *sigh*”
