The match was bloody, with no more than ten seconds played Luk had been wrestled to the floor and in the ensueing pile-up a player - later accused of bringing a knife with him onto the pitch - somehow killed Luk in a tragic accident.

"That'll teach the bastard to beat me up. And if you don't play any good, it may happen to you too, got it?" - the Funbbl Crew coach overheard talking to his team in the dressing rooms at half-time.
