“Da Green Smile had the first offensive and were able to score in the mid of first half. They also killed the feared "Nanrauk the Fierce" (apot failed), even if the first foul was a sent-off :(
Being able to hold the Worm-Eaters from scoring in the remaning turns it made for a great and close first half.
The second half didn't fare so well, since the Smilers began to lose players and failed a couple of critical rolls, allowing the Eaters to score.
With 2 turns left on the game, they still tried to win but was to no avail...
The overtime was dominated by the Worm-Eaters, that got a well deserved win.
Da Green Smile comments after the game: "Theys wure cheatin on us... the Ref sent un of us out..."”

After a disastrous start when the star Nanrauk the Fierce got killed on the very first turn (and of course the apothecary failed) things got worse when Da Green Smile took the lead.
The Worm-Eaters then failed to equalize in the first half after excellent defense by the other team.
The battleplan for the second half became one of attrition, and the Worm-Eaters finally scored on turn six after a gruelling attack more like dwarves than goblins.
In the overtime the Worm-Eaters got to start on the offense, and by now their opponents were down on their knees, in fact Da Green Smile only had two goblins left when they finally forced the Worm-Eaters to score!
Da Green Smile then got their drive spoiled by the Worm-Eaters blitz, and after some 4 hours of play the Worm-Eaters could finally celebrate.
