“The Fangs had to retire three of their players to be able to enter the Little Grudge Bowl and so with only three Skinks this was always going to be a tough game. Instead of kicking at the start of the match the Fangs recieved to allow a quick opening score whilst some ball handling lizards remained on the pitch. After that the Fangs set about defending for the rest of the match. A last gasp diving tackle in the first half by Tehen kept the score at 1-0 at half time. However team casulaties meant that there were 7 lizards against a full beastman team for the second half.
Dispite some desperate marking by Tehen (the only skink remaining at that time) the Fangs squandered their chances when the ball came loose and eventually Forever After managed to bring the ball across the line to score the equalizing touchdown in the last turn.

The Fangs are now back to 11 players for the next match (even with the Krox out) and hopefully can still qualify for the play-offs. Whether the decision to retire so many players was wise remains to be seen.

An exciting game which went right to the last turn. In some way I'm disappointed on failing to hold off the beasties until the end and yet also glad on being able to pull off a draw. Seems neither coach can gain an advantage with three score draws between us now!
