This was, like, "The Game of (Double) Skulls". Bad dice results were a dominating factor in this match. It began with my Storm Vermin rolling two skulls on my very first turn and happily continued for the whole duration of the match.

In the first half, I got pretty much beaten, but somehow managed to keep the Undead away from my end zone. On turn 8, I finally got lucky as my Linerat dodged away from his opponents, picked up the ball, handed it to my Thrower, and he lobbed it to Sonic the Rat standing all alone in the other half - 1-0.

In the second half, the Undead evened the score in four turns. That should leave enough time for me to score a winner. However, I had four rats sitting in the KO and Injured boxes. I failed to protect my ball carrier, and he was knocked down by a Wight, who promptly caught the ball. On my next turn, I had an opportunity to blitz the Wight with my Rat Ogre, he just needed to Go For It once...

As you may guess, I rolled a 1, the Wight passed the ball to a Ghoul far on the other side of the pitch, and on his last turn he scored the 2-1. :-( I got at least some satisfaction by badly hurting one of his players with my Rat Ogre. Overall, I was very pleased with the four casualties I caused. My opponent sure wasn't, because I killed his Ghoul with Sure Hands who had scored the game-tying TD before! My thrower, Mad Rat McQueak, put a skeleton out of the match and proved again that he is one of the best players on this team. Raticate was awarded the MVP for killing the Ghoul and mutated a nasty pair of Claws. And still, despite their sometimes abysmally bad luck, the Rat A Touille seem to play with a strange blessing upon them: In all their matches, none of them has ever been permanently injured (except for a dead Gutter Runner right in the beginning) - which isn't common at all for Skaven teams...
