Founding member and Captain. Arrogant to the extreme, Alyran Miththalar is, like most of his team, from a noble family in Ulthuan. Strong, fast and extremely pompous, Alyran was a natural leader for a High Elf team and founded the Ulthuan Dragonflights. In fact he funded the entire team himself, so wealthy he is!

He has proven quickly that his skill matches his ego as Alyran has gone from strength to strength, being the one to not only sack the carrier, catch and score the winning touchdowns but also winning all of the glory (much to the dismay of his teammates) . As a gift for his incredible performance, Alyran was even given agility enhancing bracers which has made him even more efficient at Blood Bowl. It is to be seen if Alyran can not only continue to go from strength to strength but not be claimed by the ever watchful eye of Nuffle.

Reportedly Alyran has stated:

"While none are safe from the grasp of Nuffle, I am more than confident that nothing short of direct intervention from all the divine beings themselves could stop either me or my team from showing the world of Blood Bowl who the real champions are!"

Alyran also has an intense hatred towards the Naggarothian Nightwings, who are in fact the reason he founded the Ulthuan Dragonflights to begin with. It is to be seen which team proves the most successful.

Alyran Miththalar had fallen. Despite the best efforts of his personal Apothecary, the Super Star Blitzer who so believed himself invulnerable finally met his end against a Chaos team Goretown Grinders . In the middle of a desperate scrum to take the ball off a Chaos Warrior, Alyran was brutally blitzed by a Beastman. Such was the brutality and force of the hit, Alyran was spontaneously splattered into blood and gore which left nothing for the apothecary to work with. While this has hurt the teams performance, much has been shared regarding his death.

First, it was terribly unfortunate that despite Alyran's quote from earlier, he was facing a Chaos team who are well known with a pantheon of four very active and very powerful Gods. Second, the team itself did not feel too sad over his death considering his suicidal plays he utilized to gain as much personal glory as possible as well as hold up the entire team locker room to himself.

Notable Events

- In his tenth match against the Chaos Dwarf team, Losing is Fun! , Alyran was brutally gang fouled by a group of Hobgoblins and a Bull Centaur which killed him outright. However the apothecary, his lifelong personal attendant was quick to act and saved his life. Alyran Miththalar is arrogant, pompous and looks down and almost everyone else but if there is one thing he hates most of all: being in debt . And this was not the type of debt which could be paid back purely in gold. His apothecary, Allannia, has supposedly been compensated but details have been vague. While she still tends to the team as an Apothecary, she seems to tend to her work with a bit more of a spark than usual.

- Alyran to his horror, received a devastating injury to his spine during a rematch game against the Zit Poppin' All Stars . Out for revenge and having stolen the ball, a Pestigor charged from Alyran's rear and tore into his spine. Alyran's back was so damaged that not even the (substitute for Allannia who was, as it turns out, allowed to have a vacation under Alyran's permission) apothecary could save his back, in fact smashing his knee in the process. The substitute Apothecary was fired and his license revoked and Allania having returned, was devastated with the news. Alyran however did not show anger towards her, only self pity for himself. It is to be seen how much this will effect the Captain of the team.

-Alyran finally met his untimely death in his 17th played game against the Gore Grinders Chaos team. In a desperate attempt to get the ball free from a box formation, Alyran swept into the field. It was not until that moment he realized his terrible mistake. Surrounded from all sides, the scrum began to intensity and Alyran tried to force his way out. During the scrum a ferocious mutated Beastman blitzed Alyran from behind.

Be it through some unholy means or just plain bad luck, Alyran was killed almost instantly. Struck with so much force, Alyran almost immediately died and his body splattered into a messy, bloody pile of flesh, blood and gore, his armour splintered and scattered across what was left. Allania, the team Apothecary, did what she could but there was too little left of the Prince to recover anything. Beside herself with grief, she contacted his family immediately.

Alyran's remains and armour were sent back to his home in Ulthuan and his older brother, Alyathon Miththalar, has taken it upon himself to lead the Ulthuan Dragonflights to a bright new future. As for Alyran, his brother has inherited his magical bracers which, either through magic or perhaps a secret family technique, Alyathon has proven to emulate his younger brother almost as well. Alyran Miththalar's career ended like so many. A star which for one moment shines so brightly, only to be extinguished a moment later. His family mourned for him and the funeral was a grand spectacle but Alyathon is far more concerned with how Alyran lost much face to the other families. The legacy of the Miththalar's lives on through Alyathon and Alyran's magical bracers.

- Gained 13 SPP against East Coast Kings Chaos Renegade team after 1 MVP, a casualty and 2 touchdowns.
