Tom O'Boyle
Tom O'Boyle was once nothing more than a common crook. He was a small framed weak weasely man with a dishonest face and foul breath. He would spend his days wondering the thoroughfares of Pockara preying on the weak and unwary.
He was 20 years old when the Pox struck and he was languishing in a jail cell for the murder of some poor soul. Many of the inmates that came down with a bad case of the pox were carted of to the deepest part of the dungeon and left to rot. Forgotten these men committed the most heinous acts ever heard of to each other including Cannibalism. Due to Toms small frame he was mostly just abused and tortured by the other inmates with scraps of flesh thrown his way.
Soon though many of the inmates had died but some of the inmates were changing. Tom found that he was growing bigger and stronger and the remaining inmates began to fear his appearance and they tried many times to kill Tom. But something in the Pox was keeping him alive.
Finally twenty five year later someone returned to the cells and found Tom there alone in the dark feasting on the rotting remains of his cell mates. Tom was given a choice to either remain there forever or to join a Team to help find a cure for the Pox.
