Unintentional Backup Plan had initially joined the team as a journeyman Lineman, practicing with the team before their next match. On one play, starting Thrower Indy Ploy took a tumble to the pitch and was carried off to the KO box. None of the Blitzers could get to the ball, but UBP was able to scoop up the ball and successfully finish the play. He stood out as a playmaker through the rest of practice, and was handed a new contract under a new name as the team's backup Thrower.
