Barristan Selmy, a former knight of some regard, decided that instead of going quietly into the night like so many others his age, he would at the very least die fighting. Having been hired after Khal Drogo was released from the roster for mediocre play, he is always willing to throw himself into dangerous situations on the pitch, and many analysts believe that, should he survive, he has a great future ahead of him.
