He had allways lived in the shadow of his more talented brother Jack The Crippler. Just as he was getting some credit of his own- after scoring his first touchdown- he was brutally murdered. The fact that the murder was commited on a BB-field in the middle of a game (and thus was perfectly legal) doesn't change the fact that he died too soon, without making the brutal casualties that were expected from him at the start of his career.
