As a boy (if you can call a 8 ft tall ratogre a boy) growing up in the slums of Skavenblight, Mr. Whiskers hated playing with other kids. Not because he didn't like playing but because his friends had a tendency to, well, break. Needless to say he wasn't very popular with the parents. After a particularly long playsession disaster struck. Mr. Whiskers Accidently killed 21 ratlings in the 4th grade and severly injured 2 teachers (never play dodgeball with a rat ogre. Unless off course you are a gutterrunner).
He never really forgave himself and headed out into the Old World looking for a place in life. He found it with the Gutteball Sprinters, a collection of outcast and criminals from Skavenblight. They taught him the finer points of BloodBowl which as a ratogre tends to be a tad violent. At the first practice he killed the star Storm Vermin of the Sprinters in a wild celebration dance when the Vermin had scored a TD. Once again he prepared to leave it all behind but the coach was thrilled. Whiskers got the storm vermin's starting position and has played with the Sprinters ever since.
