Vermundr: Holy Gift or Protector
In the Team's first game, having thrown two non-scoring passes, it was decided this player was the only one worthy of an MVP. He obviously learnt from the experience, displaying considerable Agility after the game.
In the Team's third game, Vermundr 's sheer determination to play meant that he ignored apparent injury. In some strange manner this was rewarded by more than the MVP as he increased his physical Strength as well as moral courage after the Team's first victory.
In the final game of the disaster that was Season XX, Vermundr found himself alone on the field surrounded by his opponents. He learnt again the need for Agility, narrowly missing injury through fancy footwork.
In the second last game of Season XXI Vermundr excelled, with overdue recognition of his Starplayer status. Unfortunately, he over-exerted his groin in that game and seems to have sustained a niggling injury, with drastic results for the team he carries on his broad shoulders. He missed the final disaster of a poor season in which only he excelled.
In the third game of Season XXII, Vermundr went that extra yard and slipped on blood, breaking his neck instantly. With no medic or wizard available, he died the way he lived, fast and furious.
