<b>* 2007-12-20 </b> - The death of Ray Blazer came as no surprise to anyone. He was an elf with an attitude. Hot tempered and mean as a rattlesnake, death was clearly just waiting for him around the corner. Even so, the Quins fans took the loss of their star blitzer badly.
Hard-Hitting Ray was the brother of former Quins <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=4284877>CJ Blazer</a> <i>(catcher)</i> and <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=3616161>Dede Blazer</a> <i>(catcher)</i>
He was the first of the Blazer brothers to play as a Blitzer.
Ray loved going toe to toe with the oppositions biggest, meanest players. He finally found one that didn't back down. Ray Blazer, the toughest elf to ever play for the Quins died in a game vs <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=1976347>That Stinks!</a> shortly after being recognized as a star. Now THAT truly STINKS.
With his death, Ray leaves <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=4280252>Froo Freebreeze</a> and <a href=http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=4403792>Gordon "Go" Long</a> as the last living players of the Phenomenal <i>E.L.F season XIII.</i>
