Chi-Chi was born in a zoo in China, near Beijing. He was immediately found to be unbelievably intelligent, being able to communicate using bamboo sticks to drum out morse code even whilst he was a baby. Later on in life, he was taught to make verbal communication, in the form of speaking Chinese. Unfortunately, Chi-Chi's linguistic skill were hindered by his poor pronounciation, and his habit to interrupt speechs with a loud roaring sound. This has led to the formation of a new Chinese language being created, named in his honour, Pandarin Chinese.
