Tweety was thrilled at the prospect of joining the team. He was beloved by his teammates for his high morale and the uplifting tunes he whistled at half-time. It seemed he had a bright future before him, performing well in training and strengthening the teams spirits when on the bench.
However, in the team's very first professional game, he was savagely beaten down by an otherwise <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=5158390">charming Amazon</a>, having obviously forgotten the ancient proverb, "never stand between a woman and a touchdown."

As he lay dying on a stretcher with a punctured lung, his final words; "I'm just sorry I wasn't able to stop that touchdown," caused the Team captain <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=5152002">El Rey</a> to swear to avenge him or pluck his own eye from its socket. The team went on the field and in a hail of flying armour and accompanied by the screams of their opponents, they managed to kill off two amazon women.

While in the end the game was lost, Tweety had been avenged. Even in death, he proved his immeasurable value to the team as a uniting factor, bringing out the best in each individual player.
