At first, Victor became known, jokingly, as The Jinx because he got the number thirteen. After the team had lost six games in a row, some of the more superstitious players began taking the nickname more seriously.

Lucky for Victor, <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=5151996">Knuckles</a> had never been very superstitious, having nowhere near the mental ability to sustain beliefs more complicated than "the more people I beat up, the more the coach will give me to eat." Knuckles had also taken a liking to Victor, ensuring his safety from the more fanatical players on the team (here's looking at you, <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=5152008">Sam</a>).

After Knuckles' death, Victor was without protection and he was killed on the field, oddly enough, in the <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&id=2116626">thirteenth game.</a>
