Rumors are rife that Fungus owed the Apothcary money so he refused to assist Fungus. Futher rumors of the apothcary actually slitting Fungus' throat while he was down are supported by photographic evidence but have been dismissed as "A load of funking old Elf hair products !".
Although he wasnt a very good fouler Fungus was the DFC's top touchdown scorer at the time of his death.</i>
