It is indeed a long shot for a human catcher to survive for long in the violent world of Blood Bowl. Rupert did his best, though, right from the start learning as much as he could about blocking techniques, so he could effectively counter them.
In the end, he went where all catchers must go, especially if they happen to run into some <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=match&op=view&id=2756665">pointy-eared bastards</a>.
