Game three was a series of misfortunes for the Runefangs. Numerous failed dodges throughout the game had fans hurling insults (and harder pointier things) at Karl. In the last seconds of the game, all was forgiven as Franz Bronson made an amazing series of dodge, ball grab and long throw to put the ball in Kopp's hands! Though blanketed by two defenders he made the grab and finally managed two sucessful dodges to run for paydirt and an improbable tied game!
Fresh off the team's first victory and subsequent retirement of Volker Stein, Karl was unanimously voted the new Team Captain and hopes to inspire his team to many more victories!
Karl was killed in game 20... the Runefang's day of woe against Sleepers from Metropolis. The worst defeat the coach had suffered to date, but the team will carry on the legacy of toughness to honor the best player from their early history!
