Garconquawaq joined the Itza Insequents following promises of gold, fame, and the opportunity to hurt people, all in the name of sport. His long journey from home brought him from deep in the Macu Peaks to the Temple city of Itza before he and his team mates departed their Lustrian home for the White Island and the challenge of it's leagues.

Garconquawaq had always been one of the biggest and strongest of players on the Blood Bowl field, intimidating his opponents and making a name for himself in the training camps. This reputation gave him a confidence beyond bounds, a cock-sure attitude that he took with him into his every match and was surely his biggest asset, helping him to feats no other Saurus could match.

His debut in the WIL Fringe was highly anticipated by the many fans of the Insequents, especially when they learnt of their opponents - elves. Many a mighty Saurus had been crushed by Garconquawaq during training, these elves would be nothing more than practice before facing the humans. Indeed, the question on everyone's lips wasn't how many touchdowns the team would win by, it was how many bodies would Garconquawaq accumulate.

Training can only prepare you so far, though, a point which was hammered home - literally - at the start of the match. As the Insequents took to the field, Garconquawaq, waving to his many fans, missed the starter's whistle and turned his back on his opponents. The elves didn't need asking twice and gave a clear demonstration of why the game is called Blood Bowl.

Upon the event, his coach was heard to remark: "Bleedin' cold bloods and their scales. Nothin better than plate armour I tells ya.'"
