*Hired Game 145*
Newly appointed captain (Game 162) of what's being known as the 4th era of the Bengals, Dieter is the level headed pragmatic leader of the current squad and a million miles away from the late, slightly mental Max Schmerz. Providing a mobile hitting presence, Dieter is absent of the usual psychotic bloodlust of his contemporary killer positionals. Able to read a game like a book, Herr Macht's elf-like dexterity enables him to get where he wants to be, when he wants to be there.
Dieter currently holds the title for 2nd best ever coach MVP:no. of games ratio coming only behind Max Schmerz.
Injured in game 172 against some dirty pro elves, Dieter, resolute as ever, hasn't let the doctors' warnings bother him. As doughty as ever he is determined not to let his bad knee affect his performance...or the Bengals' scoreline...
Game 185 saw Herr Macht's injury take it's toll as a hard hit left him in the casualty bin, this time with a smashed ankle too damaged for the team of doctors on hand to do much about. Determined to keep on to the last with his typical 'never-say-die' attitude, yet utterly loyal to the success of the team, Dieter's future with the Bengals remains uncertain.
Game 208, Dieter's 60th, and a crushing blow from a nurgle warrior cracks a vertebrae forever ruining his vaunted agility. Now with multiple injuries Herr Macht bows out of the team after a great career, a board MVP securing his position as no. 2 Bayernhoff alltime star (after Herr Schmerz), a mere 7 spp from legendhood.
