Runner Askelson is a Craghammer PR catastrophe. Fast, sturdy and with quite a bit of experience under his belt he seemed like a great signing on paper. But when he showed up to training with his dance moves, big hair and highly questionable taste in clothing, it appeared that Coach Johar was going to have his work cut out.

Closer inspection of the Dragonmail correspondence revealed that Havardr's experience mainly consisted of performing renditions of old war songs for retired soldiers, and participating in Bretonnian dancing contests.

Orcs may snigger. Elves may swoon. But if Askelson and his team of stylists can produce the big plays the Craghammers need, the players might just let slide their blind, bigoted hatred of the slightly different.

Nobody will be particularly surprised to hear that Askelson hails from Tilea, which is absolutely nowhere near the lands of the Norse (or even the imperial Nordland).

Messes up his ankle in our debut game after scoring a td and securing 20 squares of rushing. We'll retire him when we have the cash. He does make a comeback in game #3, but he retires after that in place of another man who walks properly.
