Walpo Waxwind was a member of the now infamous Big M starting 11(!) who drew 1-1 with the U.O.C Pride in the C.B.B.A season opener.
Walpo stayed on the pitch long enough to escort Fox Newpelt into score the opening touchdown. Unfortunately for Walpo, the following drive began with his broken neck at the hands of a vengeful lion! Coach Karnov's controversial "opening game - no apothocary" policy meant that he wasn't coming back, ever!
Nevertheless, his outstanding performance was recognised with an MVP award, and he retires undefeated in his career. There is chatter coming from the Cockerel front office that they may be pursuing Walpo for his services...
