(8/9/04) Sadly, Mad Emu's career has finally come to an end. A second niggle rolled at 126 spp didn't help his cause, but age finally caught up to him when, in his 61st match, he suffered a niggling injury as a result of a necessary one-die block gone horribly wrong.
Fighting to avoid being crowdpushed the next turn, he attempted a blitz and initially rolled a pow/skull, and needing to get away from the sidelines, re-rolled and came up with a skull and a quick trip to the Badass Monkey medical centre. Alas, there is nothing more they can do for him, he has finally reached his use-by date and it is time for him to hang up his boots and enjoy a glorious retirement.
