Named Lionheart as he was born with a strange birthmark on his chest with the appearance of a male lion, fans have grown to know him as such for his feats on the pitch.
Some claim he has some dwarven ancestry due to his sluggish pace on the pitch but none would say that to his face.
Lionheart first evolved as a team player known for his blocking and assisting abilities but of late has grown into more and more of a well honed battering machine having developed a decent set of offensive skills combined with some ole school street fighting wisdom.
Some fans from the much reviled school of Blood Bowl Sage Minma claim he should be retired for his lack of speed and this has led to an assistant coach once trying to have a chat about Lionheart's retirement plans and prospects.
The assistant coach never returned from their "chat" and the remaining assistant coached have all agreed it is best to leave Lionheart to retire in the manner he most desires.... On the pitch... Dead!!!
