The erstwhile captain of the Brazen Effigies, Ernst "the Unspeakable" was blessed by his patron god with the most unpronounceable last name ever seen in a Blood Bowl team. He makes up for this with his 'flair' in the ruck, killing and maiming with what his coaches have called "'Unspeakably' vicious actions" - a catchcry that team supporters have been quick to use as their own.
Ernst's captaincy of the Brazen Eff's (as they are known by their oldest fans) is a nebulous thing - while he has plenty of clout with the adoring beastmen linemen, his brother warriors are more than dubious about his ability to command them. This often causes mayhem on the field, as each warrior handily 'forgets' the play, commandeers a small team of beastmen and sets about collecting heads for his patron god.
