Marduk chose the name of the Chief deity of Babylon, and showed his authority scoring the first ever touchdown made by the Annunakis in heroic fashion late in the team's second game. Because of this, he's also one of the two hobgoblins who doesn't have to share the factotum duty. Idol of the young Hobgoblins, Marduk is a skilled scorer and a competent defender, and a selfless teammate to top it off.
He lost an eye in the team's fift game against Sonntag Morgen Stammtisch, and although the injury doesn't limit his skills, he has sworn vengeance against the regular dwarfs.
Marduk played almost the full Massacre of Rotten Luck, and although he was knocked down late in the game, he still resisted more than every other Hobgoblin fielded by the Annunakis.
In the 23rd game for the Annunakis, Marduk reached Star status and was nominated vice-captain by popular demand. The demise of An and Enki solidified this making it permanent and much more than an honorary title.
