Afonso the Fish, as he is now known was once Afonso the Explorador, he searched the lands far and wide, discovering secret tombs, amazing landscapes, deadly mountains, and some say even the fountain of Undeathly death, whatever that means.
He met his grisly fate one afternoon, as he sailed with a fleet of 5 ships from his King, off to find where the fabled Fish city of gurglegurgleblubblub,
As his watchman yelled for a sighting, he walked off into the deck and slipped on a pile of fish, falling into the sea.

Years later however, someone found his body washed ashore, with what seemed to be scales all over him, and several dead fish next to him.
After being Resurrected by a secret Necromancer of the court he had told of how he had not indeed died when he fell into the water, but simply gone into a portal, into a misterious land, where iron clad warriors were fighting over balls, it was there where he had begun his bloodbowl carrer, which ended shortly after some local residents were sick of his fish smell and threw him off the harbour to his death.
