Poor, poor Sickrot didn't deserve to die.

It was WBA's first ever match, and expectations were low. Incredibly, the team had managed to scrape a 3-1 lead on their Norse opponents, and with the final seconds ticking from the clock, team captain Oggy Thribblestealer ordered his teammates to form a large smiley face formation on the pitch, to taunt their defeated foes.

Sickrot, hearing this call from his captain, scrambled to his feet after being so cruelly taken down just seconds earlier, and was just beginning to run into his position in the lower-right corner of the smile, when he was brutally tripped by a nearby lineman. With his guard lowered by the joy of the imminent victory, he landed on his face and broke his neck.

He was buried with his best squigskin hat on, and his sacrifice in the name of kicking a man when he's down will live on in our memory forever.
