During his rite of passage, in which each young clan member is left, naked, to fend for himself in the northern wastes for a month, Offa survived by ambushing stray beastmen, sleeping inside their hollowed carcasses, and eating their barbequed meat along with a strange variety of blue mushroom he discovered growing under the snow. He returned to his village completely absent of sanity and wearing a necklace of gor-horns strung together on blood-matted sinew. When NPU heard of his exploits they immediately granted Offa a scholarship to join the university's Blood Bowl team.
