A former special forces unit "Black Light" Lieutenant, he was the youngest man decorated by the President. Once a war hero in the campaigns in Leningrad and Siberia, he is now a convicted bank robber. He has long hair and wears an eye patch and a black sleeveless t-shirt, urban camouflaged pants and black motocross boots. Plissken is arrested for robbing the Federal Reserve Depository in Atlanta, Georgia in 1997. However, he was to be given a presidential pardon if he completed a task. The job was to find the President of the U.S. whose plane crashed in New York which is now maximum security prison. The bridges are mined and the skies guarded. Seemed like a good deal for Plissken, however, there is a catch. He is injected in the neck into the carotid arteries with two microscopic capsules containing explosives, heat sensing charges of a size of a pinhead. In 23 hours the capsules will be completely dissolved and the charges will blow. However, the charges can be neutralized by x-rays in the last 15 minutes. In order to have this done he must rescue the President and a tape recording. Snake is armed with technical gear and weapons including a Suppressed Scoped Mac-10, Scoped Magnum, throwing knifes, Glider, and other tools. He ends up rescuing the President with help from a cab driver, an old friend, and the old friend's "squeeze." However, Plissken destroys the tape recording as he walks away into the night.
