Background

Jiil always loved Bloodbowl. From a young age she collected all manner of Bloodbowl merchandise - from player stickers and trading cards to replica helmets and those overpriced yet curiously team-branded hot dogs you get from snack wagons - with a mindless devotion. She even went so far as to play with some of the sport's fictitious interpretations, such as Stabuteo, a tabletop strategy game in which painted miniatures made of plastic chase and maim each other based on a series of dice rolls.

Even Jiil's parents thought that was a bit extreme.

After 11 games / her 9th game

Having already missed two games due to injury, Jiil's body was collapsing under the weight of a career on the Bloodbowl field. With three rushing yards to her name, a feat of technical competence few other players can even dream of achieving, she approached her end with no fear, and no regrets. She died in the side's 2-1 loss to the famous Halfling Flying Sammiches team.
