Rick Sims was one of the 11 players that played the first game of the Ankh-Morpork Supersuckers. He was a great fellow and the fans loved him. He was totally fearless on the pitch and even managed to score a spectacular TD against an Amazon team.

He was holding the line tightly (like he always did) when he was crushed by the minotaur blocker of the opposing Chaos team. He died instantly, and the aphotecary couldn't do anything to save his life. The rest of the guys decided that Rick's death should be revenged on the field, and they did their best to beat the rival to dust.

The Supersuckers won 5-0 that day. Being that their best performance to date.
