The hand that wrote the gospel according to Luke and Acts. Luke was a Greek doctor that travelled with Saint Paul. Because of his education, he was able to chronicle much of Paul's teachings and biographical accounts. It is believed Luke was born a slave and a gentile (non-Jew) based on much of his gospel championing the poor.
It is unknown if he was martyred or lived a long life. But without his writings, much of Paul and the early Christian works would be unknown today! And with it, quite possibly, Christianity as a whole.
