The Cowboys’ first-round draft choice in 1963 following an All-America career at Alabama, Jordan anchored the “Doomsday Defense” from his middle linebacker position for 14 years. He was named to the Pro Bowl five times and All-Pro twice. Jordan was inducted into the Ring of Honor in 1989.
