Osmond did such yeoman service in his journeyman game that we had to hire him!

Not only did he snatch the ball on a crowd throw-in, but he kept it safe for the entire half and walked in a defensive score, then fought in the trenches on the LoS for the entire second half, hitting hard and staying on his feet until a Rotspawn smashed him in the head in the very last turn of the game. But even this was merely a flesh wound. Welcome to the Corsairs, Osmond!

The epilogue is regrettably a sad one. Osmond never again lived up to the promise showed in his debut game, not getting a single Star Player Point in the next five games he played with the team, at which point a broken leg put an end to his career.

Such is life in Blood Bowl - not every bright-eyed hopeful gets to be a superstar. But Osmond at least got to live his dream, and show his mettle in the big leagues. We pour one out for him!
