Poncho was sold as a slave when she was a baby. Her masters forced the slave name Poncho upon her, put her in a cage and treated her as a circus freak. She was overfed to a degree that she developed both hip and back problems, and the "games" that the masters' kids forced her to participate in resulted in severe PTSD.
