Karel Grootvoet never really wanted to play Blood Bowl. He was forced in this profession by his father, who was a huge Guilders fan. When he got a smashed knee in this match against Bögenhafen Basalisks he saw this as a gift from heaven. He bribed the apothecary not to heal his injury and could finally step back and follow his true passion of gardening. With his new gardening business he kept the Guilders as one of his clients, and make sure the grass is always in a perfect condition before each match.
