During the last game of summer Y7 the talented rotter Pligis played vs. his favorite team - The Couriers! Since his childhood he adored this supreme squad and was an avid collector of Couriers merch and of course a loyal subscriber of Plagueboy™Maggotzine. This merch and especially an obscene fold-out poster of Courier-superstar Gnarlsore unfortunately wasn’t that healthy for him. His general hygiene deteriorated rapidly and he was told to leave his human settlement. His admiration of Blood Bowl and Nurgle led him straight to The Gardeners who needed some cheap line fodder and Pligis was drafted.

With a remarkable career he finally faced his idols during the CIBBL Grudgemaker Showdown. Being a particular gifted ballhandler the plaguebearers hunted him non-stop and when he finally took hold of the ball - like a filthy elf lucker - Gnarlsore took him down for good!

Heureka! That secured him a spot with The Couriers was his last thought before his brain seized to function - but no... His collection of minor maladies were insufficient for him to be assimilated.

But the next day an impressive zit had emerged from the knuckles of Slaugox Gnarlsore. It even showed sentience and was promptly offered a steady gig with the team. Bearing an uncanny resemblance to Pligis Spiderling decided to name the nurgling Pligis Jr. in homage of their biggest fan.
